RAC TIENEN With its rhythmic façade and brutalist elements, the RAC Tienen building is an understated landmark in the city’s landscape, situated on 1 hectare of land. Originally conceived in the late seventies and constructed in 1983 by local architect J. Piron, the RAC was occupied as public service offices. After being home to administrations for nearly 4 decades the complex now requires a new interpretation. Besides the main building, the property also has a charming smaller building that was used as a courthouse. Both buildings will be repositioned.
